Dr. Jason Rose was born in Clearwater, Florida. After graduating high school he entered the Navy and completed the Naval Nuclear Power Program. He was then assigned to the USS West Virginia SSBN 736 where he completed 5 deterrent patrols. After completion of his service he attended the University of South Florida and received a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical sciences.
It was during this time he found his passion for Dentistry. He was accepted to Nova Southeastern University, where he met his future wife Ann. Dr. Rose continued his military career after graduating from Nova Southeastern, and he entered the United States Air force as a Commissioned officer. His first assignment was completing an Advanced Education in General dentistry (AEGD) program at Eglin AFB in Destin Florida. After the AEGD program Dr Rose completed several assignments including flight commander of the dental clinic at Laughlin AFB Del Rio Texas. From here he was chosen to attend Air Command and Staff College in Montgomery Alabama and received a Masters of Military Operational Art and Science degree.
Dr. Rose had decided early on in dental school his passion lied in root canal therapy. He attended the USAF Endodontics Program, which is a two part program. His first year was at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, followed by transfer to Keesler medical center, Gulfport MS, where he completed his Endodontics program and was awarded a Masters in Oral Biology.
Dr. Roses’ first assignment after graduating at Tinker AFB Oklahoma City, OK where he established the Endodontics department and mentored the junior dentists in Endodontics procedures. He was then needed at Macdill AFB Tampa Florida, where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Dr. Rose enjoys his off time with his wife and young boys (Deven 7 and Ajay 2). His hobbies include listening to music, playing games and swimming with his boys.
Dr. Rose is currently a board-eligible endodontist registered with the American Board of Endodontics. He is also a member of the American Endodonctics Association, The Southern Endodontics study group and the Florida Dental Association.
